David Drake studied photography at the Western Pacific Academy of Photography n Victoria, B.C. He also has a degree in Mass Comm and English from York University. Raised in the western wilds of Vancouver Island, he moved east to the ‘big smoke’ (Toronto) for a period of time and has now returned to BC to live on Salt Spring Island. David has a passion for traditional B&W darkroom practices and, will soon be building a darkroom in his new home. He enjoyed a range of group and solo shows in Toronto, and he looks forward to more in his new home
